sunshine and catchups

As much as I dislike the midwest and its lack of mountains and water, I have to say that it is times like today that I absolutely adore it. It is March, and it's 75 degrees outside.

Aside from the amazing weather, one of my absolute favorite brides Christy and her hubby flew into KC today after a trip to DC (where they are moving- how jealous I am!) and took the time to meet up and say hello. It was so nice to see them, and they just looked so...happy! They've been married for, oh, 6 months now and it seemed like it was just yesterday that I saw them get married.

Anywho it was so nice catching up with Christy and I'm sure Kevin was bored out of his mind the entire time, but it was so much fun! I wish we could have talked for longer, but once she's out of school and before she moves, I'm holding her to that girls day! And I want to see the rest of her pictures from NYC!

But that was my fun day. Tomorrow is St Patty's day and apparently KC has a big parade downtown. Too bad Adam is working, that would have been neat to see!
