snow really dampens a weekend

So I suppose living in the wonderful Midwest this was inevitable, but that still doesn't make the 1-inch-turned-into-6-inches of snow any more desirable.

I had to reschedule a client meeting as well as reschedule an engagement session with Hayley and John- who I was looking very much forward to meeting again before their wedding in 2 weeks.

Sigh. And then I was supposed to drive down to Springfield to hopefully book our reception site, but since the plows dont like to come to our neighborhood, that had to wait too.

So I spent the weekend trying to design our save the dates. We haven't gotten our engagement pictures taken yet, and I really want to put a picture on the final ones, but this is my first rough-draft attempt. When we get the pics it might change completely- but who knows? I think it turned out pretty well.

They will eventually be postcards that I can order for free through the God-send of Vistaprint I have no idea how I ever would have survived without them to create all of my advertising stuff.

Anywho, I'm about 3/4 done with Christy & Kevin's awesome wedding trailer, so look for that early this week. :)
